Pelvic and sacral pain is often mislabeled for years, because several different nerves can produce very similar symptoms. A block quiets one specific nerve with local anesthetic, and your response identifies which one is actually responsible - genuinely useful information when the diagnosis has been uncertain. Blocks are image-guided, done in the office, and where relief is real but temporary, ablation can extend it.

Hip and pelvic pain frequently comes from an inflamed joint, bursa, or muscle, and an injection places anti-inflammatory medication precisely there. Relief often restores the basics first - sitting through a meal, sleeping on that side, walking without bracing - and makes the strengthening work that protects the joint possible. Injections are guided by imaging and performed in the office.

For persistent pelvic and low-back pain that has not responded to blocks or injections, a cluneal stimulator interrupts pain signals from the nerves crossing the back of the pelvis. As with our other implanted devices, you start with a temporary trial and only proceed to an implant if the relief proves itself in daily life.
